​In addition to the RSO, Ross has been a member of the Virginia Symphony, Boston Philharmonic, and performs with many other groups such as the New Jersey Symphony and the Atlantic Chamber Ensemble. He teaches privately and is on the faculty at Virginia Commonwealth University and the Wintergreen Summer Music Festival and Academy. He has had a few tastes of Hollywood working in film and television with roles in Sherlock Holmes while tutoring Robert Downey, Jr., Sex and the City 2, and various shows on NBC, USA and HBO.​
