United Way benefit concert - Free Admission

The Symphony Musicians of Richmond under the direction of Maestro Lawrence Loh, performed Beethoven's 5th Symphony to celebrate the 5th annual Music Unites Concert. It was an exciting evening of great music and we loved getting to meet so many members of the audience at the reception after the concert!

Benjamin Zander visits Richmond to benefit United Way

The Symphony Musicians of Richmond and AFM local 123 partnered together to bring Benjamin Zander, a world renowned conductor and public speaker to Richmond for an exciting and interactive classical music experience designed for those who don't have classical music as a part of their lives.  "Classical FEVER" was a wonderful free event at St. Michael Catholic Church, and donations to benefit the United Way of Greater Richmond and Petersburg totaled nearly $3000!  We saw many new faces, and got people excited about music.  Many thanks to Ben for his gift of inspiration to us all!
