      • The imposed contract alienates the musicians from the board and management creating an uncooperative and distrustful culture.

       

      • The management’s imposition of a regressive contract has led to low morale among the musicians.

       

      • We have lost prominent musicians in the past year to lateral moves.

       

      • These players left the RSO because of low morale and contractual uncertainty.

       

      • The imposed contract has caused a much lower turn out at RSO auditions over the last year.

       

      • Managements unwillingness to compromise leaves the musicians feeling powerless.

       

      • The RSO can’t move forward in a strategic way until all parties (orchestra, board, and management) come to a consensus on where we want the organization to go and agree to a contract that reflects that consensus.
